Hi, If the baby is sleeping and the diaper is not soiled say for 6 hours, let it be. You can by touching the diaper figure out whether the moisture has build up it being against the body and there is need to change it or not. You can slip a finger and can know there is need for change or not. Else, if the diaper remains dry during the hours when the baby is awake you can change it after say 4 hours.

Hello, I think you can change the diaper after every 3 or 4 hours. Plus whenever you are opening the diaper, you can check it against the baby's skin and would come to know whenever it needs a change or not. But ideally you should change it after every 4 hours. This was what I used to do with my babies.
