how many FTWM resigned after maternity to stay at home with LO? Is it worth to give up your career, when baby can be placed in an IFC, which might even be more beneficial for baby. Does this stretch the family finances a lot?

Me. I resigned and look after my son as no alternative caregiver to take care and I don't trust infant care or helper. I believed it is totally worth it as the bonding, time and love given to your child is irreplaceable. Money is abit tight but still able to make end meets. Money can be earn later. But a child will grow quickly. :)
