My first-born son loves it. Here's why: I make sure to totally remove the white inner lining. That's the bitter part. Cut it into very thin slices. Stir fry it with bagoong paste, ground pork, and beaten eggs with a little water. I see to it that other ingredients overpower the flavor of the ampalaya.
