How long will it take to recover from a vaginal birth?

It really depends how the delivery was, and varies from person to person. For my #1, I could walk after 4 hours with support and by the next day, it was as if nothing pop out from there. I did natural delivery (2hrs plus) without epidural, baby was 3.6kg and got 3 or 4 stitches. For my #2, it hurt like mad. I had difficulties getting up from the sofa/chair/bed. I walked soooooo slowly and cried everytime I peed coz it hurt. For 2 weeks I was in pain. I did natural delivery with epidural (9 hrs), baby was 4.3kg and got 2 stitches.
