before. because you won’t have time to buy once baby is here. even if you plan to breastfeed, best to be prepared for cases like if baby can’t latch properly, or you feel too tired, or you just can’t recover enough strength to breastfeed yet. or even if baby has jaundice, have to stay in hospital and you have to pump (it’s very common). sometimes even when you fall sick also may not have energy to breastfeed. haakaa is not enough to clear and you might face engorgement once the milk kicks in. if you don’t resolve the engorgement timely may result in mastitis. it’s good that you have the strong will to bf but just be prepared in case.
