I took my kid out of school for about a year. She was constantly sick and it was difficult to manage the unplanned illness. I did a nanny share with a friend during that period. much fewer illnesses. when I put her back into school, she did fall ill more frequently but not as much as that first time.

You can take help from a fellow parent on notes n studies covered in the week your kid missed school and do it with your kid at home over the weekend.

It’s all a pet if growing up for the kids and us too. Falling ill helps build resistance. And we of course have to ensure proper medical care.
