wine and coffee during pregnancy

As an expecting mom, I've been dealing with the usual ups and downs of pregnancy, but I've also developed some habits that are causing concern among my family and friends. To help ease some of the discomforts of pregnancy, especially at night, I've occasionally turned to a glass of wine. It helps me relax and sleep better, and it feels like a little treat during a challenging time. Additionally, I've been craving iced Americanos like crazy. The refreshing taste and slight caffeine boost make me feel more energized during the day. However, I've been warned repeatedly by those around me that consuming alcohol and caffeine during pregnancy could increase the risk of my baby being born with autism or other developmental issues. These warnings have left me feeling guilty and anxious about my choices. is it true???

You can consume caffeine but max limit is 200mg per day. If possible, try not to intake caffeine. A big no to alcohol even if it’s only a small percentage. It may help you to relax and sleep better now, but if the risk has impacted on your baby, you will be guilty and regret for life. You would have even a harder time relaxing and sleeping in the future too if baby has development issue. Not easy to be taken care of. If you truly love and want the best for your baby, please stop consuming. You can find other pregnancy friendly activities to relax and sleep better.
