Small for gestational age baby
Has any mummy experienced having a small for gestational age (SGA) baby and having it as late onset (I.e. After 32 weeks pregnancy). It's usually diagnosed as having estimated fetal weight of lower than 10th percentile for given gestational age. Additionally, did your baby subsequently put on more weight before birth and was there any specific dietary adjustments you made that helped? I have come across suggestions for durian, avocado, nuts, pure chicken essence and calcium products. And I am aware there's also no clinical evidence that whatever you eat gets 'channelled' to the fetus but I wish try nonetheless.
