Congrats! I am expecting a baby boy too! I have been asking around and my friend said just prepare a comfortable baby cot. No need to fill up the cot with toys or too many pillows as Sudden Infant Death Syndrome can happen. She said just focus on sleeping next to the baby (baby sleeps in cot next to your bed) for 6 months. Maybe get a carrier too for doctor visits. She recommended Ergo carrier series.
