Ob-gyne's Advice and Recommendations

Good day mga mommies and soon to be mommas! I'm a licensed Ob-Sono, yung sister ko (Soon to be mommy na din) is a member here sa app/group na to. She always shares or asked me yung mga questions dito sa app sakin and one thing I notice here maraming mommies ang takot mag take ng Cefuroxime (antibiotic) lalo na yung my mga UTI. A piece of advice please don't hesitate to take Cefuroxime or other Medication lalo na if you have UTI or infections. I have a lot of patients na magtatanong or babalik why their babies have complications after birth and most of the mom's admit na they're scared to take Meds which is it helpful for the infections like UTI, vaginal yeast and other infections. We don't recommend any medication na harmful sa health ng baby and sa mother. Please monitor your health and always consult your doctor before taking any medication while you're pregnant, don't hesitate to consult an OB if you know na pregnant ka. If you're tight on the budget you can go to center which they have a public Obgyne. Have a great day mommies and hoping for your safe delivery. ?

I was admitted 2x due to gastritis and uti.. and nong nadischarge n ko hindi na ilit ako pinag repeat lab taz niresetahan ako ng co-amoxiclab ng attending physician pero hindi sya ob.. and then nong nagpacheck up ako s ob ko pinagrepeat lab nia ko then sabi konti lang ung uti ko kaya pinag rubig nalang nya ko.. tanong ko lang ok din po b ung co-amoxiclab s buntis kc bkit inistop ng ob ko ung gamot n un? natatakot tuloy ako kapag naadmit s ospital tapos tinuturukan ng antibiotic baka makasama ky baby.. 2x n kc ako naadmit due to gastritis and uti..

isang tanong p po doc kc may mga mga times n nagspotting ako kaya almost every 2 weeks tlaga ako nagpapacheck up and ultrasound (16w today) kahapon lang nagkspotting n nman ako til early this morning pagkaihi ko pero so far wala n po now and nangyari un after sumakit n naman ung s may bandang sikmura ko nong Monday.. ask ko ung ob ko bka daw s pag ccr ko lang daw or hemoroids daw pero sure naman po ako n hindi s may bandang pwet galing ung spotting kc ndi naman po ako nagwawipes don.. tpos ask ko sya kung may lab or gamot b n dapat ko gawin para sana maiwasan ung spotting ko.. kc nararanasan ko xa either nagdadiarhhea or slightly constipated ako. thank you po
