For our family planning, I chose to have my contraceptives injected that is good for 3 months. But I noticed that I have rapidly gained weight, perspires a lot, and constantly experiences mood swings. Does anybody experience this too with the contraceptives injection?

Hi there, your side effects are normal: weight gain, mood swings along with headaches, breast tenderness and irregular bleeding are common after getting the injection. On the plus side, contraceptive injections may provide some protection against cancer of the womb and pelvic inflammatory disease.
