Normal
For me it's ok but jst get stress when even the older generations ask alot of A$ questions lolzzzzz I get AAARRRGGGHHHH
Don't worry, some children start talking late and may be talkative when they start talking. If your paediatrician think is abnormal then you may go to polyclinic to ask for referral to speech therapist.

Some kids start late but may turn out to be more talkative than kids who start early. Was told by polyclinic healthcare that I do not have to worry yet but I asked for a referral just in case & almost sent mine to a specialist but he started yakking since 3yo. Now I sometimes wish for quiet😅

When you LO is ready. I try on 2yr 8mths she cannot hold her urine yet. So failed. 3yr 3mths she was all ready.. With a diaper but will control and go toilet and we trail with diaper for a week. The following week we go diaper free!! U will know the best for your LO. Every child is different. We can take online or other as a guide but not compare. 😉

I started the moment my baby turn 10 month. Still training but her shitting time quite regular I let her know that potty is for shitting.
two times but if its a hot, three times

Morning and night definitely will bathe. During the day, if too hot will bathe or wipe down too.
VIP Member
Bathe in noon after the lunch , wipe down evening
One wipe down and one bathe
One to two times a day should be fine as more than that might lead to catching cold as well

I shower my 16 months girl 2 times and 3 times if it's hot
Me one days three times...

once

Actually once a day only.. haha. I feel that showering my LO too much dries her skin quickly.

Same for my girl when she just learns to tip toe. Then she learned how to walk backwards then keep walking backwards. Now her pattern is turn n turn n turn around.

just let baby sleep
when hungry they will ask from u
Let baby feed on demand.

Let baby sleep. 17months will be somehow like adult. As in normally adult doesn’t wake up in the middle of the night for food. So by right, can feed the child milk before zzz and that will be able to drag till morning when the child wakes up. 10-12hrs

I would be soo grateful for the time to sleep! Personally i believe there’s no need to wake LO up if they’re sleeping soundly (sleep is good for development) plus since bb is alr 17mths most nutrition can be taken when awake in the form of solids :)

Yea I agree that it depends on your family’s schedule and child’s routine. Like what time is comfortable/ not too rush for you all to prepare dinner. Previously when I was working, my child had his dinner later to accommodate my mum’s preparation time and my time to reach home/ get ready to feed him. Now that I’m SAHM, I’ve a better control over everything so he usually eats with us around 5-6pm. I’ll keep a good gap before his last milk intake before sleep otherwise he won’t drink anything.

My daughter took a long time to finish her food, so we started at about 6pm, to get her to finish her food, as well as leave a time gap before her milk before bedtime. So it depends on your routine and kid’s bedtime. My daughter slept at 9pm (to accomodate my work schedule 😅)

Yes! I know how u feel. My lo is coming 19m too. Lo nap 1 time only. Max 1.5hr or 2 hr. So at night can sleep early haha. At this age they can nap once already 🙂 Before start school lo will awake at 9am latest , always sleep at 9-10pm. Once awhile 11pm+ If awake like early 8am, lo sleeps early. Suggest you can wake lo up earlier. So lo will use to school’s timing. Eg Wake up 7am, 8-8.30am breakfast, 11+am - 12pm lunch, 1pm nap (milk before nap), 3pm snacks, 6-7pm dinner . 8-9pm sleeping time. Do you have school time table & food menu? Have a copy of it. So you can practice school’s routine:)

1 year old should be fine but start with a few sips

At this age, you can change up the menu a bit more:) try different textures and foods and flavours to make it more exciting for her. I’ll be honest, kids approaching 18 months become more picky. Try noodles or pasta or bread. Give her things that are crunchy/crispy, some that are soft and see what she’s more receptive to. Let her hold some things in her hands to feed herself. Meal times need to be more fun and interactive. They like more action and play and fun during this age, so meal times are boring and taking away the play time, unless you make it more fun for them.
