explain your relationship with your mum? my mum is toxic to me. Trying not to bring my children around her often.

Depends what kind of toxic. Unless she is a danger to my kids, I will not stop my kids from meeting her. Currently on cold war with her but my hub will still bring the kids over for dinner. She is still my kids' grandmother and she does love them despite how annoying she can be and how she will say nasty things at times...
