Safe to put 2yo at front seat in car with baby seat?

Expecting 2nd child soon. Is it safe to put 2yo at t front seat (with baby seat of course)? So that I can manage new born at the back, and 2yo is with father at t front (he can tend to 2yo when he's not driving.. or I can reach out from t back like pass her a bottle) Otherwise how do parents at the front seat manage when they have two babies at the back seat that need attention (like if newborn suddenly wakes up for feeding)?

Super Mum

It’s not safe to put any car seat in front, and all of these baby seats will have that warning label. I’m not very small sized, but I squeezed between 2 chairs at the back, one rear facing and one front facing (normal 4-seater car) to manage both kids for a few months till the little one stopped crying while in the car seat. Also avoided too many long rides. Now both are at the back with no issues.

ooh thank you. I look forward to that time in t future :)

No never ,the kids must always be at the back seat with a proper belt on,please look for a booster seat and for the 1st kid and a small car seat for the new born, both will sit next to each other and bond better too..😀 good luck mommy

my 27 mth n 7.5 mth sit on their own at the back car seat. most time I sit in front. Once in a while I will climb to the back to entertain the small one If he cry non stop. but generally, my boys love to ko in car.

No , its not practical to have your toddler sits in the front seat .
