It is important to raise a healthy, smart kid with a heart especially in this fast changing modern day. Raising an almost 4 year old child is a work in progress and not as easy as I thought it was. Kids will not learn by just you telling them to do this and that, be like this and that, don't do this and that Children nowadays are exposed to social media, technology, other children/people (with different personalities) etc. where they can copy their behavior. So it is important that parents will be there to guide them and be their good role model. Even though parents are not perfect, it is a challenging journey that parents also learn from their child. Change themselves for the better so they can be the person they want their child to be (or better). My husband and I are learning to raise our daughter to be the person with a heart by walking the talk. I apologize when I did something wrong to her. I let her see what I feel and that I am really sorry for it. When I see her do wrong things that she might saw from other children or she might watch somewhere else, I tell her that it's not right and explain to her why. Even my husband is overseas, I make sure that my husband and I talk to our daughter together about the things our daughter did wrong. We let our daughter talk and speak her mind too. With that, we will see where is coming from and how she came up with the wrong doing.
