First appointment

Hi, has anyone walked in to see gynae before? My earliest appointment will at around week 11. Currently experiencing a bit of cramps on the left abdomen. Is that normal? I was thinking if I should walk in to any nearby gynae clinic to have a check first, are they all by appointment only or would they accept walk in? Also curious to know, when is your earliest first appointment? First pregnancy though and I'm kinda lost!
