does montessori affect speech development in a positive or negative way? while i appreciate the orderliness and calm at a monte, there seems so little interaction compared to the normal schools, which seems to be language rich. anyone with any experience to share, much appreciated. :)

My boy was in MMI Pasir Ris since he was about 2 and a half. Before that he was in Sunflower Montessori. Now he's about 3 and he picked up speech tremendously well, that is probably because his class PG was held together with N1 most of the time. Mixing with older kids helps him speak better.
