Does KKH let you keep your placenta? Or do you need to pay to have it?

You don't need to pay for it because it's something that they will discard if you don't need. If you intend to process it into capsules or consume it, you'll need your own container. However, consuming your placenta is neither recommended or discouraged by medical professionals to date as there have been no conclusive studies supporting either claim. http://www.wisegeek.com/what-are-the-pros-and-cons-of-eating-placenta.htm

Yes, KKH will let you to keep the placenta upon your request. You do not need to pay. However you need to prepare a cooler container to keep it.

To add on to Diana, the nurses will ask if you want your placenta at the end of the delivery before they discard it.

thanks
