Does honey boost a child's appetite?

I don't think honey will boost a child's appetite. Also how old is your child? Honey should not be given if the kid is below 1 year old because it can contain Clostridium botulinum, which can germinate in a baby's immature digestive system and cause infant botulism, a rare but potentially fatal illness.

I believe honey can't single-handedly boost one's appetite, although there are naturally made appetite-boosting concoctions that include honey as an ingredient (like ginger juice with honey etc). I haven't found a study proving it as an appetite booster.
