Not necessarily:) My baby was born 75-90th centile, and now she’s about 25th centile at 8 months (was even lower before she was started on solids). She’s really really active and probably uses up a lot of energy. She feeds well too, but she just is petite now. My elder daughter was also born 50-75th centile, and now at 4yo, she’s also about 25th centile. I think as long as the children are active, and you give them a healthy, well balanced diet once they start solids, they should be fine:) For formula, just stick to 150ml/kg/day (while only on milk) if you’re worried about overfeeding.
