You can check Viking's Venue, which is really designed by Vikings for gatherings/occassions. Your guests will enjoy the buffet food but there is a room/hall alloted so there is a privacy for your event.

There are quite a few decent restaurants around the Mall of Asia area, from the really modest to upscale. You should be able to find one based on your budget and theme
