Do you often get snide remarks from relatives, especially the older or more traditional ones, implying that sons are better?

I don't get snide remarks about kids gender. But i do get constant comments on how i am managing two kids. As my husband is the only child from the entire family (his aunt is married without kids) I have to deal with how i am disciplining my kids. Different family have different ways i guess? Probably when your relatives makes such remarks again, just smile and walk away? Lesser interaction = Lesser arguments
