Do you believe having a confinement nanny is necessary?

It's good to have help, but it doesn't necessarily have to be a confinement nanny. For centuries, I believe relatives, other mothers and other older women in the community get together to help new mothers recover after delivering and to help her settle into motherhood (caring for baby, cooking, cleaning, etc) . That's why it takes a village 😊 it's definitely different now, but we have alternatives - mom/MIL, helper, husbands, service providers like confinement nannies or food delivery 👍

Yes. Confinement nanny is very useful for those not living near parents or in laws and the husband is working. Imagine without nanny and if you are ftm and no one will be around to guide you. Especially when u r still in recovery stage. The husband or working relative will only be there before working hour or after working hour 🥶🥶

Yes, so I can recover fast and be able to fully take care of my baby. Newborn moms gets sick easily, how can I take care of my body and by baby if I'm doing all the hard work right after popping out the baby? If I'm sick, how can I take care of her? Sad because I don't have the money for extra help, nor do I have relatives near me to help

We definitely need someone no matter it's your mom or anyone like confinement lady. Especially 1st born mom. Because new born mom easily stress and tired. Someone at least can talk to is enough. This is for my opinion because my partner is not around the whole day.

That’s help for taking care the rest of stuff. Good for new mum. Sometimes you are just hard to identify what’s going on for the baby and what to eat is good and bad for you. Having an experienced nanny would be great.

i'd prefer someone i know who is experienced. my mom especially. or the help of my husband so we can learn our baby together. but this is just my opinion 😄

necessary if you know you are not a good caretaker, dont have any help at all, and had csec delivery. i was all these hence the nanny was a necessity for me.
