Symptoms of lactose intolerance during pregnancy include abdominal pain, bloating, cramping and gas after consuming dairy products. The difference between general pregnancy symptoms and these is that these symptoms go away once you cut diary from your diet. In general, you will have to avoid dairy products. However, do make sure you are consuming calcium for your body. You can do so by drinking almony/soy/rice milk instead of cow’s milk. You can also increase your intake of kale and broccoli. Speak to your gynecologist for more advice on how to manage the condition.
