Ultrasound price.

Dear Parents/Experienced/Experts, Scenario : Recently I went to a regular private clinic to perform 2D ultrasound scan for my baby. I was being informed by the nurse that the price of the scan will increase monthly as the baby months grow older. I was stunned and full of surprised with the information, could any experience mommy here heard about this absurb explanation on the ultrasound scan before?
