It is rather common as young children's immunity is low. In addition to this point, poor environment hygiene, poor hand hygiene and isolating infectious cases are also contributing factors. Unnecessary exposure of known cases to unaffected children should also be avoided. Besides these, be it in childcare or public, every parent should practice sole diligence in keeping the sick child at home to avoid the spread of virus though contact.

It's quite common. As there are many kids in a close environment, sometimes kids does carry the virus but symptoms not shown yet. Best to build up immunity for your child in the mean time too

HFMD virus is everywhere. Not only school. There are always higher risk to get it there due to the amount of children in a confine area.

Yes common. This can happen any and everywhere not just school. Best to practise hygiene washing of hands and be more kiasu to be safe

It is common. Kids have lower immunity system. We can try to take precaution but definitely unable to prevent 100%.
