Closed Cervix /Maliit na sipitsipitan

I get why this is confusing. A "closed cervix" and "maliit na sipitsipitan" are related, but not exactly the same. A closed cervix means it's not dilated or open, which is normal at 37 weeks as your body prepares for labor. "Maliit na sipitsipitan" refers to the cervical opening being small or not fully ready for labor yet, even if it’s closed. Both terms can indicate that your body hasn’t started labor, but your OB will continue monitoring to see how things progress!
