Do you choose the theme or your child has particular theme for his/her 1 yr old birthday celebration. My dau is turning 1 yr old next yr. Thinking to do a theme party. What wld u suggest. For baby girl

I have the same question and facing same scenario. Haven't really concluded about it myself because the husband recently the say want to celebrate 1 yo bday party. I guess...does ur child have a favourite color (which maybe is assigned by u or has a few fav/usual toys? I will work and use that for the theme party - be it a coloured theme or a character theme (depending on what is the toy)

Yes usually i am the one who choose. But for a 1 year old, usually they don't know much theme. i would go for a general theme. For my elder son, i did animals. All sorts. Nothing fanciful. Just a huge cow cake. And a few walking animal balloons

I never like cartoons and stuff. So id go with colors. Prolly pink and yellow. Even for my kids i never did a cartoon based. Its simply too commercialized to me. In my opinion.

If your daughter had a cartoon character that she loves it, why not? You can do a cartoon theme party! :)
