allow them to do things on their own, and trust them to do it well. and always praise the effort not the results

It will be a good mix of all the above as each point helps in the self-esteem development of the child

Hopefully they have something that they do well and have interest in so we can praise her.

Be encouraging and nurturing. Celebrate successes, guide them through ‘failures’

Children are sensitive beings and with proper support, they build their confidence

Talking to them and finding out how are they doing in school, with their friends
