Celebrate with us! Polio outbreak in our country is over. It can be recalled that there was a resurgence of polio in the country in September 2019 after two decades of declaring the Philippines as polio-free. On June 3, 2021, the DOH officially concluded the polio outbreak response. Because of this incident, we have learned how important Inactivated Polio Vaccine (IPV) and Oral Polio Vaccine (OPV) in protecting our kids against polio disease.
