Are cauliflowers and brocollis already safe to be consumed by a 6-month-old?

I've also read in an article before that broccoli can cause cholic among babies. But some say you just have to always steam and cook it thoroughly. As regards microwaving broccoli, some studies have shown that microwaving broccoli causes it to loose nutrients. Broccoli may also be baked in casseroles and other recipes. Broccoli and cauliflower might not be a good choice for baby's first solids as they can cause gas. Broccoli can be hard for a young infant to digest. The current suggested age for introducing these veggies to baby is when baby is 8-10 months old.

If your baby has just recently started his solids, I think it's best to delay cauliflower and brocolli. They're usually given between 8-10 months.
