Can I mix medicine in breastmilk before giving to my child? My two year old does not like to have medicines.

For babies, mix the medicine with formula or breast milk only as a last resort. Babies often detect the medicine and may refuse their next bottle or nursing. If your baby has started on solids, check with your doctor whether that particular medicine can be taken with food. These "mixers" include applesauce, pudding, juice, yogurt etc. This article has other methods you could try: http://www.parents.com/baby/health/antibiotics/how-to-get-babies-to-take-medicine/

Since your child is already 2 years old, I would suggest you mix it in anything she eats. You could put it in her glass of milk, cup of yogurt, or just put it in a glass of smoothie or milk shake. as she grows, slowly tell her why the medicine is important and try to make her have it as it is, without the need to mask.
