We use the Summer Infant Tinydiner Portable Placemat which I bought from Pupsik studio. Comes in three Colours - blue, green or pink and retails for around $18. It's great because it is designed for kids to eat directly off the mat! Strong suction cups also help to keep it in place on the dining table! The moulded scoop catches food, reducing mess that ends up on the ground.
