Do you believe in Positive Parenting or Ancestor's Parenting means shouting, spanking etc ;) ?

For any parent, I believe it has to strike a balance. For me, I used a lot of positive parenting but at the same time, I had to use the traditional way to get my point across. However, I am mindful that after each scolding, I have to let my LOs understand what they should to have done. There must be learning elements.
