To be certain that your baby is not sweating due to discomfort, dress your baby in cotton clothes if the weather is hot and humid. You can also give your baby some naturally cooling drinks, such as lassi, tender coconut water, lime water and such to regulate the body temperature and reduce sweating. Sometimes, excessive sweating can be caused due to a condition known as hyperhidrosis, where the sweat glands are more active than usual. If the sweating is excessive, it could also point towards illnesses related to the heart. Do not be alarmed, as your baby's doctor will be able to provide the right consultation and treatment options. I came across an article that talks about the condition in young kids, see if it helps http://www.aboutkidshealth.ca/En/HealthAZ/ConditionsandDiseases/Dermatology/Pages/Hyperhidrosis.aspx

My daughter also sweats a lot, and I don't think so that it is anything to worry about. Just make sure you are not layering her too much. Make her have lots of water to keep her hydrated. Keep a sipper and every now and then, make her sip a few drops. But if you think that her sweating is abnormal, then you must see a doctor to clear your doubts. http://www.boldsky.com/pregnancy-parenting/baby/2014/four-reasons-your-baby-head-is-sweating-040277.html http://www.livestrong.com/article/499055-infant-sweating/
