Just Mums

baby sitting up

Baby is currently 5.5 months and has been able to balance herself abit while sitting up. We usually prop her on a chair, or sitting on our hamstring, or lean against a wall/cushion. However my IFC teacher says she is not ready to sit and so should not try sitting. Is this true?? Any scientific facts??

🦸‍♀️ mama first, everything else later

Her spine may not be that strong now and will not be able to sit up for a Long time

if I let her decide on her own if she wanna sit or not is it better, instead of like forcing her to sit up by leaning against something? anyway my baby is 7mth now and is sitting frequently, although still wobbly but with alot of stability
