2nd baby?

My baby boy is now 15 months old and our thoughts are turning to whether or not we should give him a sibling. I was 38 when I gave birth. I will be 40 this June. I am feeling that if I don't get pregnant within the next six months, I will be too old a mother with baby no. 2. On the other hand I don't feel that I want him to grow up an only child but I don't think that is the right reason to have a second baby. Is anybody else at this stage and age too? Have any of you made a definite decision to have only one child? Any thoughts would be much appreicated.

My baby girl is already 25 mths old.. I have same thoughts as u, to prefer having a second child.. Im 35 this year but my husband is very busy with his business.. My concern will b I have to handle both children most of the times by myself.. But I did share my thinking with him...
