Apply a bit of expressed breast milk on the wound to speed up healing. The best time to trim nails are right after a bath when the nails are at its softest, or when your baby is fast asleep. I use Pigeon nail scissors for infants as well. I used an infant nail clipper (Pigeon as well) before but realised it was way easier to use the scissors.
