Separately, both fish and papaya are good sources of nutrients. Fish is an excellent source of protein while papayas are packed with minerals and the vitamins A, C and E. Together, they provide a healthy and nutritious meal for anyone and will be equally nutritious for a breast feeding mommy. While the effectiveness of the fish and papaya soup as a milk booster has never been proven scientifically, it is a popular confinement dish in Chinese tradition and long believed to be a good milk booster. I have a mommy friend here in Sweden who married a Singaporean man and papaya fish soup was one of the meals she ate during confinement as prescribed by her mother in law and she did mention that it kept her energy up during the first few weeks post delivery. Here is a recipe you can try: http://www.thechinesesouplady.com/papaya-fish-soup/comment-page-1/
