Anyone has etopic pregnancy before? I have a friend just had a surgery and one of the tube has been removed. Will it affect her future chance to get pregnant with only 1 tube?

Having only one fallopian tube may decrease your friend's chance by about 50%. However, that does not mean your friend is unable to get pregnant. There are many successful cases of women who were in the same situation but got pregnant. It is recommended that your friend wait three to six months before trying again so that there is enough time for her body to recuperate. In addition, it is important to monitor her second pregnancy closely. It is best to consult her doctor once she have a missed period. A woman may still be able to get pregnant with only one tube if: -You have at least one functioning ovary -You have monthly menstrual cycles (ovulate) -Your remaining fallopian tube is healthy If she is unable to get pregnant after a year of trying to conceive, see your gynecologist or a reproductive endocrinologist for evaluation. http://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/female-infertility/expert-answers/pregnancy/FAQ-20058418

I had ectopic pregnancy last year and removed one of my fallopian tube. As long her menstrual cycle and her another tube is fine, she still able to conceive. Currently I'm pregnant again 5 weeks and 6 days.. Pray for my smooth pregnancy journey.. Still traumatised with previous experience..
