Elective C section vs Vaginal Delivery

Anyone chose elective C section for non medical reason? I'm 50/50 because our of 5 friends 4 went through emergency c section even though they chose vaginal delivery. Extra time and effort pushing baby out and end up paying a hefty sum for last min use of operating theatre etc. My fear is e extra lum sum that goes in emergency c section. I'm 36 weeks now n recent check ups baby head is already park at pelvis. Recently felt it even lower. Gynae say my body is preparing for labour, mix feelings on should I try giving birth vaginally.

Initially i was also worried about double charges but ended up going for natural birth still :). Would only go for csec unless no choice..
