You can either sign up for jobs or wait to be contacted by an interested potential hirer. I've tried both and it's all legit. Never had any problems with payments etc.
I have heard of some friends selling wine glasses and other items in Carousell. The mobile C2C market place has gone far in making the experience buying and selling items easy and straightforward.
