Any concern if I feed my 16m child bird's nest?

I've not read about any detrimental impact on toddlers taking bird nest soup. Avoid bottled ones as those are likely high in sugar content. Home-brewed ones will be the best since one could control the amount of sugar added. Also, check that the bird nest bought are not bleached or chemically treated.
