Hi!
I've asked my baby's pedia about room temp too because of the aircon. She said that the room should be comfortable enough to sleep without blankets. 24c-25c. If lamigin 25c.
Breastfeeding babies po is mas feeling naiinitan (especially after feed) kasi warm ang breastmilk.
if pinapawisan si baby, naiinitan sya. Sa baby ko, we removed her hat na when her head starting sweating too. she's only weeks old at that time. She's 4 months now, she doesn't wear hats during bedtime since.
Best advice I could give is use a Temp Gun to check your baby's body temperature. We bought ours sa watsons, SAFEFPLUS ung brand. Kunan lang ng temperature si Baby sa may temple nya. Also, magagamit din sa pag temp ito ng bath water :)
Always adjust based on the readings of temp gun (36.5c-37c) [pagbumaba sa 36.5c, nilalamig sya. if tumaas sa 37c, naiinitan] and also your observation na din. Delikado kasi sa newborn ung mapapabayaan na ma-overheat or bumagsak ang temperature ni baby. Follow your mother's instict, mommy 😊
PS: Based on my experience, nong nag 3months and a half si baby, nag increase na kmi ng 23c kasi naiinitan na sya. She's also still wearing long sleeves onesies/frogsuits during bedtime para no blankets na :)
