Labour and sick in hospital

About time to give birth n currently sick. No covid, cough flu n sore throat. Understand that baby Will be with us all the way at the ward after birth. But if still at that point of time i still sick, will baby still be left with us or they take it to nursery instead. Quite worried here if can't recover well before it and what if the illness pass to nb. Anyone experience or care to share or advise please.
