My girl passport was done when she was almost 1 years old, now she is 3 years old and I am planning to bring her overseas. Is it necessary to change a new passport or has any mummy managed to update the photo of your baby passport?

If I’m not wrong, should be valid till expiry or after 5 years old. Can call up ICA to confirm.

Dunno why now LO is 30 months old,she understands what we say but she will not follow and simply throw tantrums especially when I am around.when her dad is around she behaves much better. I am with her most of the time since I WFH and she only attends playgroup. So I don't understand why the person that spent the most time with her and yet she doesn't listen to me and keeps doing things I tell her not to. I already feel very stressed out due to new workload my boss throw to me. And now having to deal with the tantrums I feel really helpess.

that is the terrible 2 phase..she wants your full attn at home..because of work, i suggest you get a helper, or put her in a full day CC prog so you can concentrate at home..cc timings are flexible 7am to 7pm..if u finish work early u may fetch her early

Eating fishball

Is it ok for my child to eat abt 10 small fishball every week?

Try not to give too much processed food, instead try making your own fishballs. ☺️

My 20 months old LO recently these few days have been hard to get her to sleep and she just keeps crying even though I tried many ways or things it takes a long time for her to fall asleep... Anyone has any idea how to make her fall asleep faster and easier?

Hey Rebecca, With me, I find having a routine for the kids work. Important that we also calm the house down at night. So my nightly routine with the kids - 1) TV is off at least half and hour before bedtime 2) we dim all the lights in the house 3) children have a glass of warm milk 4) brush their teeth 5) story time (they get a max of 2 books per child) 6) night prayers 7) lights out We also set up an oil diffuser with lavender and eucalyptus essential oils. You could try any of these and see if it works for you :)

How to make LO drink water?

My girl don't really like to drink water. Especially from water bottle I tried different kinds of water bottles, but she just pushes them away without even taking a sip. I try to use children cup but it doesn't work, so far she only drinks a bit if we use adult glass cups to feed her. Any tips or ideas how to make her drink water from water bottle?

Try giving her cool water (NOT ice water). Teach and encourage her to fill her cup or how to use the water dispenser on the fridge. (Of cos depending on her age). Set up a reward system when your child drinks more water. Give your child a reward sticker for drinking their water or do a special dance when they give you an empty bottle.Be a role model. The more your children see you carrying out healthy habits, the more likely they are to do the same.

Am I being a good mum?

I monitor how much intake of milk, water and meals every single day for the pass 18 months, I will give my girl some Gerber yoghurt drops and some biscuits but not everyday. Recently she don't really want to drink water so I gave her pigeon apple juice and dilute with water, but my husband don't like me doing that. And for her porridge sometimes there is fish floss added and very rare will put dark soy sauce but my husband thinks all these are no good. It feels like I am a bad mum and not giving my girl the best, but all I want to do is encourage my daughter to drink more water and eat more porridge. Very tired.

just do your best...nobodys perfect. Just let ur hubby talk you hear 1 ear in and 1 ear out. very soon she will be going pre nursery. she have to eat what the cook made for the day. I gave my daughter only organic food until she went pn ..than in school they feed her gardenia bread with jam...porridge with mince chicken or fishball soup. I just have to let my child go with the flow.

Is 2 solid meal and about 500ml of milk a day sufficient for 17 months toddler? Is it ok to add a little fish floss to porridge?#advicepls #firstbaby

There are many recommended intakes out there but every baby defers… fed is best! As long as baby is fed, doing good healthy all is fine!!! My baby 1 years old but super skinny! 7kg only! I never keep track of anything! But she do have 2 meal times and as and when she want to latch I just latch! She is super active so all is good! Just watch for baby’s cue they hungry will show one

17 months toddler issue

My girl is close to 17 months recent few days she starts to whine often and her solid meal she can only eat about 5-6 tablespoons instead of the normal 9 tablespoons, even her milk intake dropped. Any mummies can share if this is normal? Anything I can do about this?

Yes it’s normal. Masyado po sila busy and active sa paglalaro. Kapag mabagal po growth pede syang resetahan ni doc ng heraclene or mag pediasure c toddler

How to increase LO appetite?

My girl is abt 16 months old, but her milk intake is about 600ml per day on top of 2 solid meals, anyone has an idea how to help increase her appetite?
