Vicks Vaporub

My baby is 6 days old and she is wheezing upon checking with doc they said it’s normal for new born. But I can feel she has phlegm in her chest so I bought Vicks Vaporub and rub on her chest, throat and her back. As I’m not aware of baby Vicks. Advise me if anyone has experienced with me. Pregnancy 17 days!!
