Hello! I just found out I’m 5 weeks pregnant, but apart from missed period and a bit of discomfort here and there, I’m not experiencing any morning sickness (yet). Is this normal? Thanks!

Foods to avoid for healthy pregnancy

I know there are many foods we can still eat or drink during pregnancy (in moderation). What are the absolute NO-NOs?

Alcohol & raw food (though I still ate sashimi, cos I read online that you could still eat abit at places where you ate at before ans didn’t give any food poisoning so I did that 😳)

Gum during pregnancy

Hi! I was wondering if any pregnant mummy have pain in their gums? Maybe like a sore gum.. I’m currently on my early stage of pregnancy.. And also how do u resolve it and any recommendations to apply on sore gums?

I'm in my 16 weeks ,,,amd I got chicken pox , is that affect my baby ???? Cn any one explain me

There might be a risk of affecting the baby. Which hospital?

Which hospital is the best hospital for giving birth?

Best is subjective as it depends on individual preference. Personally my priority is the gynae and just coincidentally the gynae I wanted delivers at Parkway which is v near my place. The hosp is small but has a calm and cozy env unlike some bigger gov hospitals.

hi! need some advice. having my first pregnancy here and i'm very unsure of how to choose my gynae. currently, i'm deciding between astra and referral to kkh. any tips or recommendations? as much as i would like a good gynae, i'm keeping the cost in mind too so wouldn't want it to be too expensive

I got Dr Tho from Astra from the start till around 20months, then I switched to NUH but still under private. Generally if you're looking at cost then public hospitals are a better option. At public hospitals you still have the option to go under private or subsidised.

Hey mummies, i am currently week 23 day 6 pregnant . I keep forgetting to eat my multivitamins pill , so will it affect my baby?

Hyperthyroidism

Hi mummies.. I have long history of hyperthyroidism.. can you pls help recommend me some gynae if you know someone with experience handling such pregnancy? Thank you…

I have hypothryroidism tho. but my endocrine doctor follow up very closely ever since I got pregnant..and change the medication dosage accordingly. I gave birth safely and my thyroid was on good track.
