Newborn with low TSH levels (Thyroid function test )

Dear mummies , My newborn blood was tested with low TSH levels less than 0.01, I’m worried it may affect her brain development according to the PD. It is said by the PD that thyroid antibodies are passed through by the mothers during pregnancy . My newborn is scheduled with an appointment with a specialist in KKH this week. Any mummies have similar situation with their newborns with low TSH levels or thyroid issues ? #advice #firsttimemom

How to wean off night feed for baby?

Baby is 6 months plus now, don’t need night feeds but she still wakes up at 3+ every day.. we reduced the milk by half already and she would complain slightly. Do we just keep reducing until 0? And when wake up just carry and make her sleep..? Tried sleep training but interrupted by teething, vaccine, etc..

maternity leave ending soon... but i dont want MIL to take care of my baby

Hi Moms... I dont know what to do. My maternity leave is ending soon, and I will have to go back to work. Initially, I was set on putting my baby in daycare while I'm at the office. However, MIL wants to take care of my baby.... To be honest, after seeing what she did with my sister-in-law's daughter, I can't trust her. My mother-in-law was once caught giving a banana to the baby, who was only 4 MONTHS OLD at the time. Even when caught, she didn't think it was wrong... she said, "What's wrong with giving a banana? It was mashed and just a little bit." Besides that, she would secretly take the baby out even though she had been told not to. Although she has apologized, I still can't trust her. But my husband says I'm being mean if I don't let her take care of our baby, and that I should give her a chance. We've had big arguments about this with no clear resolution. I'm out of ideas on how to keep my mother-in-law from taking care of my baby............. please help :(

I just want to share my appreciation for my in-laws... They're really kind, even though I never expected anything from them. I used to be the type who just wanted everything to be peaceful, without any conflicts. But my mother-in-law is really kind, she always asks if I need her help. My parents are far away. She always asks me what I'd like her to cook for me. She always asks if her son treats me well. She always jokes that if her son (my husband) doesn't treat me well, I should kick him (of course, she says this jokingly). She always says not to worry about her because her happiness is her husband's responsibility. She often refuses if we want to give her money or take her out. I've come to believe that not all in-laws are mean. I'm very lucky to have met them and to have them as my in-laws. Thank you to my husband for marrying me, so I have in-laws like them!
