Mummies out there, what items are required to bring along when you sent ur baby to infant care?

- pre-scooped milk powder dispenser/ expressed breast milk (if baby is breastfed) - cot bedsheet - few clothes ,bibs - 2x baby bottle - towel for shower - baby bath soap - 5x diapers - wet wipes - laundry bag for soiled clothes that's all that I gave the IFC for my baby 🐥

Hi fellow mummies, does anyone feel strangely disconnected with their husbands and friends? It is our first child. My husband has been wonderful, we have a good relationship. There’s nothing more I wished he would do. But I just don’t feel so connected and keen in physical intimacy. Meeting friends whom I love too. Idk why but I either don’t look forward as much or just feel more tired during and after the interactions. I wish I can be myself again.

My 6 months baby had diarrhea for 3 weeks now. Doc say there is no med for her now. Worrying,help!

Have you visit PD? Do get second opinion and change FM to soy milk temporarily. Put on Densitin Purple cream for nappy rash.

Hi breastfeeding moms!

I would like to ask if you guys have any ideas on how to store your breast milks at work without freezer. My milk can’t be stored in fridge temperature as it will be sour and my daughter will reject it. I want to pump my milk at work but I can’t get it to freezing point with cooler bags or icebox. #firsttimemom

How many bottles do I need?

My wife and I have gone around collecting different baby bottles like Hegen, Avent and Tomme Tipee with varying teat sizes the past months. We have so many bottles now but I do not know in reality when the baby comes, how many will we actually need for each teat size. We probably want to standby the different brands in case LO does not like a particular one, so would you recommend that if he likes a certain brand we just stick to that bottle and teat? If so, how many bottles/teats do you guys have for each stage? eg 3 teats for stage 1, etc. thank you!! #firstbaby #firsttimemom #advicepls #firstmom

When did you introduce comfort blanket/toy/lovey to your baby?

And how did you introduce? Cos I read that not supposed to have loose items in the cot until baby is 1.. But I see babies with their comfort items younger than 1? Thanks

I gave her before 4 months old. A small lil bolster and she instantly love it. She now always have to to take deep whiff when she sleep hahaha. She co sleep with me so I am okay to give her

taking care of infant while juggling with work

how did yall take care of your infant while juggling with work? if let's say your mum is taking care for u, both u and husband take over once back from work until the next morning then handover? same for infant care, take care aft work until next morning handover.

Based on my experience, for my #1 my mum took care of her up till date. I will set a routine for my #1 to make it easy for my mum. Having said that it is the same when she was enrolled in school. Each time we get home, we will make sure she does her homework and she has already showered. She will either wait for us to have dinner or she can have it without us. She will have her playtime with us until bed time. Basically our handover once we get home till bed time. While for my #2 she is in IFC from 6 month, so we will send her to school, fetch her and settle her entirely when we get home. We will check with the teacher if she has showered. Otherwise, shower, dinner/snacks/milk, play time until she gets to bed. Her bed time will always be from 8/9 onwards. She only woke up once or none until the next morning. For me + spouse, we will turn by turn to have dinner/shower. Usually we will get this done either kids asleep or when either of us are taking care of our kids. Weekend, child responsibility will be solely on us. Again, usually my spouse will be taking care of both kids while I settle all the chores. Basically, you have to do it hand in hand to make sure all of the necessary are done.
